Beautifully simple. Great concept too. The music was not so good in my opinion it should have been sadder. Other than that it was brilliant.

Absolutely brilliant. I also agree with WutDaLOL, but even if you didn't have to make this in only 48 hours, I still think this game is fantastic and super extraordinary. This game really makes me think and also makes me care about what happens to the characters. This game just goes to show, you don't need super interesting or everlasting gameplay or Far Cry 3 level graphics, a few boxes and an amazing story go a long way. Didn't end the way I thought it would either, in a good way :) This Ludum Dare entry should certainly get voted into the top ten, if not win. I hope you continue to make games, because I know you can inspire people and entertain, probably, more than you think.
Such a good story, very sad indeed, at least for me. I really love this style of games, so simple, the music, and so inspirational.
i think the theme is that people who appear to be bad are really good . it is just the situations that they are put into make them seem like a bad guy
GameRespect the storyline is great though the music could've been progressively sadder as the kidnapper returned to his home each time.Perhaps you could also make it rain harder each time he returns home.Other than that great effort bro!
