Ok, flying is difficult, but at least you usually can choose the trust of you engine, instead here or you go at 100-90% (but even at 90% and flaps at "normal" it does seem sometime to pitch too much to mantain a leveled flight, other times it starts to climb without control, just to arrive at a near stall situation) or you put your engines at 0 (the result is obvious).

Frankly the controls are a pain, perhaps some kind of guide in to landing? Or tougher planes? and go ahead and press Z if you dare, it's like the 'instant crash your plane" button. Although crashing disastrously hundreds of times was at least amusing in its own right. It has a lot of work in it but it begs for more.
same problem with the other games, you tap the runway and it apparently causes complete and utter devastation. There's is really no middle area here in this game, it's either you do it perfectly, or you crash. End of story. I do like that it gives you unlimited tries to figure it out. But when it's the very first flight... do you really thing your games players should have to need unlimited tries to figure out your game? That is poor game building and honestly, like I sated before, it's the same as the other games. So you didn't even fix the major problem with the earlier games.
This is insanely hard. Tried to land about 20 times now. the "normal" flap setting just drops you down and stalls the plane when you try to gain altitude. And dropping the throttle immediately crashes the plane like a rock. Terrible controls and frustrating gameplay make this game a waste of time.
I found it a bit hard to play... but then again, I've NEVER been good at flight simulators. The music/art wasn't too bad, and I honestly laughed super hard when I got to the next airport, thought I was landing all sweet and my plane exploded and some dude screamed. 3 stars for sheer entertainment.
