Reviews for "Goin' Mental"

Definitely seeing a lot of Binding of Isaac and a bit of Minecraft references. Intentional?

Let's do a step-by-step analysis, shall we?

Round 1: I like the momentum factor of the ball, gives you a bit more of a challenge. i think the only problem here is the heads, which spawn just one too many.

Round 2: Guiding "Isaac" into the slug is no easy task, and the heads provide just that much more of a challenge.

Round 3: Occasionally, the creeperbomb won't detonate when you need it to. On the whole, however, probably one of the easier rounds.

Regardless, the game looks really good, a couple of tweaks here and there and you'll be good to go!

samulis responds:

For round 2, you only have to make him hit the trail of the slug, no the slug himself.
Round 3, you really just need to make the worm hit the bomb.

This game is well made. Each boss is individual, and the lack of instructions provides a challenge. I think I would have liked it more if the instructions for the third boss were optional (i.e. 'easy' mode or something). Although a bit short, the gameplay is simple and interesting. Expansion of this would be nice to see.

samulis responds:

we wanted to see who could think their way through the game and who needed exact instructions to get anywhere. :D

i really liked the concept!! i would like to see more stages

samulis responds:

Maybe in the future. The game was designed to be short because it was started as a Game Jam project.

So tricky. This guy definitely has been playing to many video games. Maybe make it so that the bombs will stun the white thing? This game is pretty good overall though.

samulis responds:

but you need the white thing to attack the worm...

I thought the game was great overall, dont know why people complain abput the difficulty on the last stage. Great job anyhow, keep it up!

samulis responds:

Glad you like it. :)
