Great game, I like the graphics and the game play. I don't like that only one hit sends me back from the beginning of the level, but its not a big deal.
I don't know if it was in your mind, but here is just an idea that you may like for future developments. It would be nice if there is some indication (in percentages or else) that tells you how much more must be eaten so you can evolve.
This is a fun evolution game. The different levels are fun to explore. Controls work well, and nice graphics. The medals work, and I earned them all. You did an excellent job for the Ludum dare 24. Will there be a sequel?
Perhaps. Maybe some time after I finish my other bigger projects. I would like to add more and bigger levels and more forms with different playing styles.
