Reviews for "Gobots"

I want to like this game. The graphics are nice and the music is fun. But I agree with just about everyone else here, far too many bugs. If it didn't have so many, I'm sure it'd be much more enjoyable. First off, you don't need to charge your bot. If you survive the night where he runs dry, then he never needs to charge again. Also, prior to building the generator and windmill, there is no way to recharge his batteries. These marks ruin this game, but if you can fix them, I'm sure it'll be an enjoyable experience.

The game really looked like a lot of fun, but it's very buggy (i.e. items become unclickable, power won't recharge, etc.)

Also, and option to mute the music would be great, as well as an option to stop auto-fighting at night.

Sorry, I gotta give two stars: way too buggy right now to be fun. I'm sure it'll be great once these are fixed!

ooh yah highscore

new bug to add to bug list :
if your gobot has powerd down to recharge as soon as it powers on before the first bar is charged if you make it do something for example chop it will have infinit energy for the rest of the game so it will never power down

also begin game is a little to hard for my taste seeing as there inst much freedom also endgame is way to easy seeing as you can over repair stuff like walls and just spam build turrets

another down side of end game the more zombie waves you play the slower the game goes round 36 took me over 10+ min to die ( yes i died on purpose )

overal nice game but with lag and bugs as down side

Good game, but it has some major flaws. The first has to do with lag. The first day went smoothly, second day a bit slow. By the time I got to the 14th day the game was running nearly at real-time. Well, that's an exaggeration, but it was going very slow. You should look up recycling actors for Stencyl, if you have not already. Not sure what else could be causing it, but I'm no expert in programming.

Also, there is the issue of being able to repair something... forever. My wooden palisade had a health bar stretching from one side of the screen to the other, making it virtually invincible.

Something needs to be done about the auto-fight. I would like to cancel it at will. It is annoying to be walking over to the charge station and suddenly your Gobot decides to go off and shoot a few rounds at the enemy, suddenly powering down and remaining motionless for the rest of the night.

Sometimes actions will cancel themselves automatically, especially if the location you are interacting with is next to the edge of the screen. You also cannot stack more than two actions without them goofing up and deleting one or all of them.

If those flaws are fixed, it would be a very good game indeed.

After restarting the game a third time and getting slaughtered yet again because my bot ran out of juice, because the charging station refused to work no matter how many times I clicked on it, I've given up. Looked like it could be a good game, but bugs are too frustrating.
