Reviews for "Ragnarok Eternal"

Well I enjoyed myself completely, and that was bloody fun slashing up monsters like in the old days. But after I had beaten that demon goat whatever creature, checked the body and then checked it again, the character seemed stuck in place. I could still swap the weapons, could alter the stats, items, notes and equips just fine. But the character was stuck firm right next to the body.

I'm currently running Windows XP Service pack 2, using Google Chrome and am on wireless. I hope when I try this game again, it doesn't freeze up. Good game.

I don't have a solution to this bug just yet, but if this kind of freeze happens again, try using the butterfly wings in your inventory to teleport back to last savepoint. Terribly sorry about that.

Great game! Ragnarok style theme with castlevania mechanics and graphics(:

Game was polish enough to be big, and quite entertaining, it has well core mechanics and goals.
You can level up with flow and not much complication to it.
Gear, mechanics and gameplay was well made, as well as weapons /items/ upgrades etc.
Did find some lack of direction in beginning, which if you played ragnarok online, this happens quite a lot where you don't really know where to head to, so it suits it fine.
I happen to die a lot. It was well really complicated, but practice makes it easy
with time u get the hang of it, and maneuver much better with practice.
Great music, and sound FX !

Has lot of similarities to Ragnarok ( great online mmo)
plays just like castlevania, the pixelated graphics, no sense of direction, gameplay and such . so it brings back memories.

Could have made it more snappy, and crisp. I played on the url u put on the site, and it played good, just not crisp, the mechanics for movement and physics could have been way better, too much delay between moves, example( if you attack it takes too long for you to stop that action and move out of the way in case of a incoming monster or attack)
this made it hard to play through and will take practice to perfection it
Waiting for the full version !!!!

keep up great work!! (:

ShadowWhoWalks responds:

I was hoping to progress the player from a slow swinging rookie to a sonic cutting mayhem of destruction (try 3 dex and see), I also thought the slow swinging speed would add more tactic to approach the enemy (such as not going face to face with the first mummy you fight). You're not the first to complain about controls, so I'll be working for better ways to make the player feel like they are in full control of their character.

I'm not sure what you mean by snappy or crisp though, but I'll experiment around with it, will try split second pause on hit etc.

Definitely looking forward to the full game.
Controls were smooth but required a lil time to get used to, animations looked fluent and music was great. It also was long enough to keep you entertained for a quite a while. Can't wait for the full version :3

this is the hardest fuckin game ever

wish i knew how to SAVE
