Reviews for "When I Was Young"

i tried getting a better score but i refreshed the page and lost my data

hmm well this game could be a LOT better if there is some story or upgrading weapons to fight those monster or whatever they are. Just add something up and the game will have something special on its own.

It is a game, that's about the only reason it gets 1 star, it functions. It's poorly executed. It also has just about all my pet peeves in regards to flash games, on your first run through you pretty much have to make a few "pixel perfect" jumps, it has "achievements" that become virtually impossible to get without clearing your cashe and restarting the game from scratch (complete game in under 10 and 8 minutes, don't die for the entire game etc.) I don't understand how this made front page, nor how it made daily 5th... I apologize for the wall of text but that basically sums up my feelings of this game.

Nothing innovative and makes you feel bad about growing old

... First of all... The jumping needs to be fixed. When I got to the child stage, I jumped over a spikepit that says my level can do that. Wrong. The jumping is messed up, and especially the fact that I was killed by a clock from 2 centimetres away. What's up with that? Oh, and I'd also like to say, when I was a child in the game (I managed to get up to that before getting tired of this abomination) I still made adult male sounds. Woah. I wouldn't think a teenager would suck on a lollipop and look like a chubby kid. I mean, teenagers can do lollipops but they don't look like young children.
Also, I was mislead and tricked several times. I was killed by a clock trying to jump on it and kill it. I was killed by a clock when I was respawned with temporary invincibility AND invisibility. Lastly, I was also killed by a wall clock when it fired an arrow. Because I was hiding through a piece of ground, I fatally assumed that projectiles didn't go through ground. Well, I was killed, and I was near a checkpoint. You should REALLY edit this game, I don't see how it is front page material.
