Reviews for "Muu: Just Another Day"

Fun

It was a little challenging but overall it was easy enough and very entertaining.

Nice

It's a very simple, fun game, which I really enjoyed, and I liked the music as well. However after the blue character is beamed up, the jump after the flag I CANNOT get, it's IMPOSSIBLE!!! It's where the flag is on a small platform, which curves downward to a slippery slope then a spike pit, then to another small steep slope. No matter what I do I can't make that jump. I really would have liked to make it to the end, to see what happened to the two of them. But overall, great job :)

Miktar responds:

Thank you. ^..^ I'm glad you liked it. I'm surprised you didn't turn on Easy Mode?

I have a video up of my playthrough (I do die a fair amount), but it shows that all the jumps are very possible.

Very fun.

I liked it. It was sweet and simple. Had a fun-feel to it. I voted you a fiver. Neat game. ^.^

Amazing game with a splendid soundtrack, but...

Most of the jumps are pixel-perfect, making them incredibly difficult and frustrating get past. The jump right after Muu's alien girl is taken is IMPOSSIBLE, (the one with a jump to a small slope, and then a four block distance jump to another small slope) so that's where I stopped.

Miktar responds:

I'm glad you liked it. I can vouch that every jump is quite possible, though as RedApeGuy highlighted, I really needed a tutorial to better explain the ski-jumping.

I'm surprised you didn't turn on Easy Mode though, instead of quitting.

Shows potential!

This little flash game shows a lot of potential. The "slope-jumping" mechanic was unique, haven't seen something like it before. It took me a while (and a hand full of deaths) to grasp the concept, but once I understood how it worked, I managed to pull off the jumps without too much trouble. If this were going to be made into a fully realized game, you might want a brief tutorial level that teaches how to do the jumps, or simpler "intro" levels where you can experiment with the game's mechanics in a safer environment.

The graphics, while simple, are cute and crisp, and are just fine for the game's purposes. I like the little characters, and I have to admit, the little black screaming men scared me the first time one ran at me.

The music was enjoyable and conveyed just the right mood for the game's various areas.

All in all, this is fun game, and I'd like to see its concepts explored further at some point in the future!
