Not bad..but overdone

Considering that you've used a 3D engine to make this shooter; I'd assume that you had a busy time when it comes to making it; I congratulate you for that, but when it comes to the gameplay itself; for the first moments it kinda feels mediocre, though impressed by the graphics, but the gameplay felt somewhat dull, you did put some effort on the music but it did not reach to my expectations to be honest, however I did like the patterning with the enemies; how they move about in one certain point, but its like playing an N64 game that was commercially unsuccessful; it was only a 'Quality over Quantity' kind of thing, In case if you make a sequel, I hope you'd be able to make the game more appealing in playing and following in the roots of the Touhou series, sounds good; doesn't it? ;)

Good game

had 895,755 score and the game had an error and stopped working for me. Was a fun game but after a while the game gets extremely repetitive once i aquired all the weapons and ceased having any thing to go for but a highscore i lost alot of interest in the game as it no longer provided a challenge or some thing to work towards. Was a good game and fun while it lasted.

Maybe this cheat has been mentioned...

First of all, the game looks great, and some of the bullet hell aspects were very new feeling to me. The first boss in particular was very challenging without being too hard with those red orbs that shot reversing bullets. It made it very interesting trying to predict where to move next as suddenly the lasers turned around short of hitting or coming back on their rebound.

The game looks nice but does feel a little slow. The music fits the pacing all the same for me. I've played through checkpoint 4 in one session and found an "cheat" for bosses 3 and 4 (maybe even all of them).

After a desperate attempt to avoid a laser beam I ended up flying into the boss ship. I immediately noticed I did not take any damage and tried the tactic again. What I found is that it's possible to sit "inside" the boss because there is no collision damage. Furthermore, even though the bosses slightly shoot back towards themselves, it seems that while "inside" the boss you can't actually be hurt by their own weapons. Effectively, you can just fly into the boss to make every shot hit, gain invincibility, and finish them much faster than intended. This of course takes out a lot of the challenge.

Great graphics, but uninspired gameplay

I was surprised at how nice and fluid this game plays even at fullscreen, props for this. However it is no good when the game is so blatantly uninspired, cliché and without any personality. An upgrade system that offers the player control on what upgrades he wants (by making killing enemies give cash) would go a long way). Boss battles take a yawningly long time to finish due to the low firepower. After the first boss I was disappointed that I didn't get any extra frontal firepower, and then for the third level you gave me rotating lateral shots which don't really contribute to killing a boss frontally either. Upon thinking of how godawfully long it would take to kill the next boss I just quit out of sheer anticipated boredom.
Enemies are extremely bland and generic. A touch of your own vision would be great, instead of copying what has been done 582967 times. I feel that overall you haven't given your best in this game creativity-wise, which is a shame since the graphics and fluidity are so good. I hope you put more effort in a sequel.

Pretty neat

Shmups usually bore me, and whilst this offered nothing new, it was pretty engaging and playable. Props for the graphics, really work well, especially full-screen. Only niggle I had, was that after the game loaded, I got a message in the top left hand corner that read "Error: Null" in Firefox (with no plug-ins) and couldn't proceed, but on Chrome it worked a treat!

REALLY looking forward to a sequel :D
