Reviews for "Trippin Kitchen"

Kinda boring

Long and easy, plays itself, no ending. After a while I had a hard time waiting for it to be over. Fun idea, though.

Mattster responds:

I tried to let it play itself and it wasnt working... weird.

possible bug?

a to attack s to insta-kill? not sure thats supposed to be there? otherwise solid game kept me amused for 20 mins

Mattster responds:

Oops...

Quick and dirty

Nice game - love the art and style.
However I would have preferred some kind of upgrade mode - maybe the old granny could have been able to jump, run faster or hit enemies harder...
The other thing is the wave/round thing... maybe redefine to a continous growth of enemy strength rather than going from easy to hard every round.

For a game developped in 72 hours its really neat though.
Keep up the good work!

Mattster responds:

Great ideas, I agree about the upgrade system. It was on the to-do list, but there simply was no time D:

I like it.

Not the best game, but it's good. I like the general feel, very silly and light, and for a Game Jam entry it's really good, especially the art for the opening cutscene. The gameplay is repetitive, but the artwork was good and the general feel is perfect. It's a thumbs-up from me!

i think what would make the game better is a shop that will sell you different weapons (spatula, butter knives to throw ,hair spray as full when you tape it to a lighter to be a flame thrower, butcher knife, shot gun,a bowl of hot fudge as a bomb or some bottles of cleaning supply's found under the sink taped together with a lighter to make a bomb)and some different battle costumes,or even some wall (stove, dish washer, microwave, refrigerator) maybe even turrets.
minions to like an old guy
please take this into consideration.
well its still a funny awesome game good job. :)

Mattster responds:

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately we aren't going to develop this any further (as it was made in 72 hours for a contest). But the suggestions will definitely help for future games :)
