It's interesting in it's own way, relaxing and exciting in it's own way
I definitely favor the control scheme, and the attack scheme in general. The fact that you have to fight to unlock the abilities that are stronger is very original.
The artwork is very amazing, which is the main reason this game has such a high score. I can ell you put some work into it.
So epic.

everything is just perfect, well... almost.
the combo mechanic works like magic, each types of attack connects smoothly and the enemy can always fly at anytime. I also like the ultimate attack although it is quite overpowered in normal mode.
the boss fight was also great, you get to play as vandier himself for the storyline feel but get to play as lone warrior in hard mode for "hard" feel.
most of the stuff i hate (pitfall in boss fight, those god damn mother ***************omitted************** mosquito) can't really be complain since it's there for challenge but i'd be more than happy if you kept the number of mosquito down in the last stage.
perhaps you should make a full-game for iphone. I'd like to experience this game in a long-satisfied manner.
