Because this sure felt like a commerical. Artistic merits aside, there should be disclosure to say if this is or is not part of a paid advertising campaign. Because is sure feels like guerrila marketing to me.
That said, this lacked the frentic humor and energy of your usual flashes. The jokes that you use feel old and recycled. If this is supposed to be a commercial for the game, it doesn't make me want to play it. As a player I can use a sword and cast magic spells? Big deal. I could do that back in the days of Baldur's Gate. (Just typing that makes me feel old.) The song is rather listless and pedestrian, and the dubious sound quality makes it hard to follow the lyrics.
It doesn't work as a commercial, as it doesn't really say what is so cool or unique about the game that I'd want to play it. It doesn't work as a comedy piece, as there isn't really anything funny in the words of the song or the visuals. In the end, I can't figure out what this is supposed to be. I can offer high praise to the art and animation. Everything else falls flat.
