Not-So Concerned Joe

This game is so fun, but definitely needs the speed issue fixed. It only ran at full speed once by chance when my Processor sped up for other background programs. I've done everything, but still can't find the Rave Party :(

ok, but level design is sometimes questionable

Imposing a constant move mechanic is interesting, and some of the puzzles revolve around it, which is good. Some of the other puzzles revolve around other things, which is also good.

Unfortunately, it takes forever to push blocks, and is totally unnecessary, given that one can just run around to restore "hp" and continue pushing. The same is true of the timed blocks that you have to touch for ~3 seconds. 1-2 seconds is sufficient to guard against temporary touching. You don't want this to be a patience game.

Making the player take irreversible leaps of faith, only to end in disaster is not nice. Once or twice, it fits with the theme of sarcastic game creator. More than that (for a game of this length), and it can lead to a lot of irritation.

Level 19 in particular is extremely annoying. The 1st half is not very hard once one is used to it, but it takes _forever_. The 2nd half is moderately challenging, largely because it's not made obvious how close one can get to those red blocks - either the kill region is larger than depicted, or Joe's hit box is larger than depicted. By itself, the 2nd half wouldn't be a problem. Having to spend a minute grinding through the 1st half _every time_ one dies while attempting the 2nd half brings on the hate quite quickly. A simple reversal of the 2 halves would do wonders.

You have a lot of potential and good ideas, but could benefit greatly from learning more about good game design principles.

Big Pimpin'! (with a little pimp...)

Ran kind of slow, but I loved it! Keep'm coming!
