A little easy.
neat game to pass the time. but u give up the strong units way to fast. would rather have a shop involved in getting the items too. having to replay and replay just for the same sword seemed a little much.
Why?
I've been excited for your games since the first epic war came out. I played Epic war to its end and wanted more. I thought it couldn't get better. 2 comes out. I'm excited. The game blows me away. 3 impressed me just as much as as 2 did in comparison to one. 4 comes out and I am still being impressed, you tried new and different things to make your game awesome. I would have PAID for epic war 4 if it had a lot more content.
Then we get to this. And I wonder if this is some sick practical joke. I will break it down for you.
Graphics: What the hell happened. I looked at it and had to check to make sure this wasn't a fake game by somebody. It wasn't. The graphics look like you somehow lost all your talent. All the animated enemies and heroes and battlefield things look weird and bad. That cross thing that selects stuff blends into the icon so much I can't tell whats going on. all the buttons look bad and I am just utterly shocked at how this looks.
Gameplay: You started off with a bow and units, then a bow and more units, then we ditched the bow entirely for heroes, spells and units (which was cool) and then finally more heroes and more cool units and spells. The games plays the same as all the others in the sense of "monsters from your left side defeat stuff on the right side." Outside of that, your hero becomes a total nutjob and runs around if he's trying to hit enemies at the edge of the map. Accessories are a neat idea but they don't really do enough to make them worthwhile. You have a ton of units and I really enjoyed the upgrade system, but I really didn't think it mattered. Overall you really lost the original gameplay because now I can go read the newspaper while letting my units hack away at enemies. It becomes as fun as those strategy games on websites where you build something and come back in an hour after its built. Its just not fun. Remember Epic war 1? You had to constantly monitor everything to beat that final boss. I was so excited to beat him. It took me TONS of tries. Here? No problems just all rush in and you win.
Music: I usually have my speakers turned off but this will be a full review. You added voice acting right? Get a better microphone and speak into the dang thing. The voice acting for the hero was so low and of a poor quality that it nearly took away from the experience. The music other than that was about as much as I expect, but the game really isn't as epic as the music is. So have a pat on the back for the music.
OVERALL: Did you try on this one? Are you going to crap out on us and be like "People will love and play anything I shit out now if I staple Epic War to it!" Because thats what it feels like. This lackluster performance is just killing me. Because I've SEEN better before. In fact I was expecting this game, from your past performance, to wow me the most. And you know what? It failed. It was horrible. It was a disaster. I had high hopes and expectations but you really blew it on this one. IF you make another epic war game, it better be MUCH BETTER than this pile of smoking shit. Toukun out.

please return to the time when epic war was fun. epic wars 3, 4, and 5 all suck. I liked 1, and 2 was one of my all time favorites, but at 3 you really changed the game and I feel it is my civic duty to inform you that you screwed up really, really, REALLY bad. the best advice for 6 make it like 2.

I am sorry but you made the hero completely useless anyway so what stopping the players from keeping him out of combat? You have the units automatically spawn and you only have a choice of what spells to use which only speed things slightly.
Sorry but this is either a crappy idle game that fail at being idle or a crappy strategy game that fail to have strategy. It your choice for the reason why I gave a 1.
The phoenix look stolen. I have no proof of this but the design don't match AT ALL with the rest of the game and the frame rate not even the same. Just something else you got lazy on or did you steal it from something else?
This is the first Epic War game I ever play so no fanboy-ness from me. I call it as I see it. If this game sucks so badly I really have to wonder how much you improve since the first or at least how sucky the first one was.
Rule of thumb: quality over quantity is view to be better by the fan base, quantity only good if you wish to milk as much cash as you can which last time I check you only making pennies from ads at the most as Newgrounds is free and only pay if you win a contest or something. Maybe for Epic War 6 you can take your time and make some improvement?"
P.S.: I love all the Epic War s saga, this one, in particular, left me sad.
