this was pretty bad
I liked the design of the game But when it came down to it the game play was off center. it seemed that when you set fire to the parking lot full of cars and left to another section they put the fires out way too quickly. The only sound i had was in advertisement add music sounds something to go with the looting

Ok, to be honest the game play does suck but that is something that can easily fixed. This review will be as it should be and about the game ONLY. If I have some problem I will contact the author via PM.
Ok, the game. The police are not distracted long enough and if you run out of things to destroy then you have a real problem on your hands. I will have to agree with some users in the fact that a broader scope in the game should be used, more space to run from the cops and the option to flee an area because its getting way too hot and a chance to free your fellow rioters when you need to. Also you should have the option to play the cops as well. Make it similar to an assault mode in an FPS. Play the rioters then play the cops to beat the rioters. Have both the cops and the rioters react to what you do depending on what you do and how you do it.
Just a few idea to make this game better.

Link, Newgrounds has had a history for controversy stretching way back into the late 1990s with the Teletubby flash game and so on. That shouldn't stop you from reviewing it properly- looking at the aspects of the game. Giving something a 1 because it's in poor taste is hardly fair on the people who spent time on it.
Giving something a 1 because it's a poorly made game on the other hand is alright. As long as you justify your reason.
Anyway, down to the actual review. I didn't like this. It was a good idea, taking the piss out of the riots but poorly executed. The pathfinding employed by both the police and rioters was not great- i was frequently able to trap the police (and conversely, my rioters) on corners. The pseudo 3D style of the game was good.
Overall- i don't think this was a great game. I agree with Amonkeyonfire- it should have been a true pisstake rather than 'serious and grim' as he put it.
It was a good idea but fell short of what it could have been.
I'm giving it 4, because it had decent graphics and was bug free. It needs work though.
Pretty meh.
Good concept and some neat ideas, but the game itself isn't too fun. Not terribly but it just feels dull.
