Reviews for "Bronies"

I am disappointd in this animation. As a brony, I enjoy laughing about people who make fun of the Fandom, because though not all are, there are some really f*****g creepy bronies. I was hoping Spazkid would be as funny in this as his other animations, but no. just no. HTe jokes (which were almost non existant) were very lame, and quite bland. I thought Spazkid of all people would have something original to say/animate, but I suppose not. The quality of the animation itself wasn't bad, it was pretty good, and the voice acting wasn't bad, but the movie itself just wasn't good because of the s****y jokes.

I think the strange My Little Pony fandom is definitely worthy of proper parody but honestly this is just lame and hate driven. I understand how anyone is giving this a good score because sorry, I have to rate this poorly because there is little to no storyline, no insight and as a comedy it just funny. Look at South Park for influence perhaps as an example of a clever satire that is funny and at times even enlightening. They achieve this by looking at situations in depth and then explore them in a way or approach that no one else has taken before. Your story is your most important feature and can make up for poor animation or poor voice acting. I think what annoys me about this flash is that I really see potential in the concept. Had you made the more normal men (or women) who get carried away with their fandom and then have the little girl go to buy a pony toy and be confused by the adults surrounding them it could have been a rather moving piece showing how the intended target audience perceives the my little pony craze by adults. You could still have poked fun at bronies if that was your goal. As I said though there would be a tasteful way of doing it, perhaps by instead of insulting their appearance or silly stuff like that show how their fandom unintentionally may ruin the show for its original intended audience. Back to my original point this is lame, hate-driven humor that just that funny. I honestly get it. Animating takes awhile. Why not spend about 20 minutes really coming up with a great concept and dialog before even touching a computer?

No. Please dont.

First off, it had disgusting animation style, so I already don't like it.
It's pretty dang immature (holding a mic to her bum? Really?).
Twilight is better than Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash.
Bronies are a nice community, not a group to hurt a child.

well a few thing first off ... we are human being not freaks yes we like a little kids show big f'ing woop yes it was designed for girls but it was also designed to get older audiences attention.

The only possible reason you can dislike the show is because you were raised and basically told that this kinda stuff is wrong or you just cant appreciate it. Just like color has no gender TV shows don't appeal to a specific audience.but even if you dont like it that doesent mean you have to go around saying were gay worse then scum that we should all go to hell. just simply say you don't enjoy the show and leave it at that it gets the same point across.

next thing keep in mind that were talking about a TV show designed by Laura Stross who is also the creator of fosters home for imaginary friends, power puff girls, code name kids next door, and the iron giant. also shes married to the guy who was part of dexter lab. this show is based on friendship and it is a nice brake from some of the other crap they host on tv now. continuing on i can guarantee with out a doubt that if you do meet a bronie in a kids toy isle buying mlp stuff they are just supporting the show. sure you might meet some guy who gets off watching pony porn or just is all round creepy but again there's people out in the world that are just as creepy and weird that have nothing to do with my little pony.

mlp promotes love and tolerance Im sorry if guys wearing my little pony shirts or guys talking about liking the show bothers you so much but its something you'll just have to get used to just like the gays just like the people who hate even when they have no particular reason

you know what id like anyone who dislikes this and has read this far to in-vision your best mate or the most bad-ass friend you have now imagine if your friend accidently let slip he is a bronie would you just instantly hate him or would you just say whatever and let it go? Im genuinely curious spazkid this question is for you too

... thanks for reading and please im beging you dont blindly hate :3
oh and ill give you a star for the animation ...

Spazkid responds:

You all say the same stuff no matter how big your novels get.

I understand perspective and stereotype based humor, but...Anything that shows an intense act of violence against a child, or even the results of such is just a huge no, even animated, not funny and quite frankly the whole lot is just tiresome. I like other works of Spazkid and the rest of the crew involved in this animation, but this one pushed the line a little too far.
