Reviews for "Slaughterhouse-Five"

Love it but...

I absolutely adore the concept behind this game, but it IS really buggy and I do hope that you intend on fixing it up because the finished product would truly be magnificent.

Pretty Surreal

Because the book is so strange, it makes the game hard to grasp.
The book tells a story, it gives all the information to you. This game however, makes you live the story, which causes it to be incredibly hard to follow, especially considering how non-linear the book is.
I think your choice in adapting slaughter-house five was a mistake because it makes the game very hard if you want to actually do something, instead of just walk around aimlessly.

6/10 for having guts, not too many bugs and nice artistry.

idiot-monarch responds:

You're right. The idea was too ambitious for the short time-frame we had to make it in. There were a bunch of concepts that would make the game easier to understand that didn't make it into the game.

Damn...

This is the game I could fall in love with if it was finished and/or just fixed. I am truly sorry for this but I can't give you more than a 6. I just hope that you'll do some more work and make it more playable. I said this already with another game, I understand that you had very little time to make it, and It really bugs me that games with so bad concepts get better scores, but I think this might have been too much work for a game jam and that you guys should try to make this one as awesome as it could be independent of any deadline.

Getting there

The game has great potential. It's interesting and well designed. All it needs is more attention, and time. With a little more work and some tweaking this good be a favourite by all who play it.

Im gonna be nice since it's unfinished.

You have good concept of time traveling to gain items to advance further into the story and learning more. but.... i can find many bugs and the girl blocking your path in your own house, What? couldn't she just lock the door or something. i get it's unfinished but you have many details to think over.
