Reviews for "Slaughterhouse-Five"

Very interesting

I can see the purpose of this game and it is very interesting. It is very buggy for most of the game. I know that it is not finished so I'm not going to make a big deal about it. The plot is also sorta hard to understand (that may be just me). Every thing else it fine.

So it goes.

POO-TEE-WEET?

Nice try...

I can see what you were going for here, but releasing an unfinished, buggy game is always going to get poor reviews, for good reason - even if you declare that it's unfinished, it's not really much of a game to those of us who play it. It's also just not interesting enough to hold my attention, although I believe I made it to the end in Dresden.

You need to make the plot far clearer - even if you're basing it on other works, what was going on was not made clear at all, nor did there appear to be any sort of message beyond a slightly-pretentious remark regarding destiny. I understand the main work is also confusing, but this really didn't explore the point of being 'unstuck' in time.

I certainly did like the idea of time-travelling to get items, though, almost Day of The Tentacle in it's idea. It's been poorly implemented here, unfortunately. If you'd made the characters more involving and put some more heart into the message, you might have done much better, although given your time-restrictions, I'd say you did as much as you could with the time you had.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work, though.

Potential but...

A good idea, well implemented, but the numerous bugs, laggy gameplay, and the fact that re-entering the dininghall after you've had your meal freezes the game make it very subpar. And while the music does fit the mood, the one short, repeating track becomes incredibly irritating very fast.

quite entertaining

I found this was a pretty good game
the only problems i found with the game was
1] the german POW camp always seems to lag
2] the time you go to the dining hall and theres the black line in the middle of the screen and you can't move

Now what i really would like in this game, is a completed version, because I find its not only visually appealing with the art work that suites the game, the thinking required, andalso the music for it works quite well to set a slight tension to it
So please either finish it
