It's confusing to you because you don't understand wit, as wit is the highest form of humor, and you are the lowest common denominator. The jokes were quite simple, albeit very very chuckle-worthy and rich. The character of the new partner really shines through the holes in his hasty (read: lazy) decisions.

I'm not making a lot of progress....
... I've been playing it like it's Grand Theft Auto. I'm halfway through disk 2 and I'm pretty bored with the naked dead chick cases, ya know since there's like 4 in a row. So earlier I just ran around LA pushing people over and stealing cars to crash into other cars. I'll finish it, but I honestly don't see any replay value. Anyway, excellent flash sir. Your artistic skills are some of the best on this site, I adore every animation you make just because you develop characters so well. Jokes were spot on, and I believe as a female, according to the above detective, I should be in the kitchen making a grape sandwich....

the jokes were kinda racist, luckily didn't really offend me, then again it might offend others, then again it was justified by how stupid his partner was "you're outta line.." making it funny :P
