Needs aprovement

The gameplay was pretty slick, but the controls as everyone says needs to be changed. While combo-ing was really fun, when I tried to do more minute movements all it did was make the character dash.

Spectacularly fantasticly suberb! Total: 84/100

Why is this featured? I mean it's an okay game. It's fun and addicting but it's just another adventure game.
Sure, I do give it that it's something I've never seen before.
Actually, the more I play it the more I realize how fantastic this is...

OVERVIEW
Another adventure game in which it's a lot like Mario-Style fighting.
The graphics are unique, but the music could use some work. The title screen is something new, though.

[[Title Screen and introduction]]
-As I said before, I've never seen anything just like this. You start the adventure by literally playing in the game (sort of). You even have the credits and more games and other things right at the end. It's a grand idea, fantastic!

-Well, I don't know just what it is about it, but I love the graphics. The 3D is outstanding. I could not get over how polished it looks. The monsters are great, and everything seems to just flow, work together.

[[Music & sound effects]]
- You could add some better music to the gameplay. But I love the music when you dash and all the sound effects. It really helps the player know what's going on.
7/10 for no absorbing gameplay sound.
[[Gameplay]]
-Well, I most certainly love it. You move at just the right speed, although dashing should last a little longer. When you pull out of a dash you should still be able to damage things until you get to a stop, because it is too easy to just hit an enemy and lose hp. Also when you go offscreen and you are magically transported back up, if you dash a split second after that happens, the dash overrides that force that brings you back to a platform, therefore theoretically killing you in the process. This would be another thing to improve on. Have that force override the dashing force so you don't kill something when trying to pull on. You can also when you're really verging on falling offscreen, but are close to the goal, you can just repetitively dash until you get to the finish, and complete the level.

This is surely something new. You get to dash around and jump on things to kill them, or dash at them. The more you kill things w/o touching the ground, the more points you get. There's even bosses! Plus, there's even monsters that have different abilities to dash. The one that shoots hearts really got me right as I tried to land on it in my (so far) 900-point combo. But, there's still only one goal, and that hinders improvement.

[[Challenge/difficulty]]
-For one thing, when killing the monsters, if you hit it barely to the side instead of above, then you lose hp, possibly even a life. And the fact that you only have 2 hp in hard, well that's insanely difficult. Hard mode is really tough. Normal mode is too easy though, in my opinion. You need something in between.

[[Controls]]
-Sorry, but honestly I just cannot stand having space be jump. I'm so used to when you use the arrow keys to move to use the 'up' key to jump. Possibly change this, please, and make it so you can use either. It would also be nice to add a hotkey for "restart" for times like when you die too easily on the first level. Also, whenever you start a level from the title screen, you have to click on the game in order to move. Which is really annoying because the focus is already on the game because you were just moving to get to the game from the title screen. Fix this, please? Although I know that the dash thing should stay as 'right/left arrow-key double-tap,' it is a little annoying to have to press. It is hard to press it quickly when you need split-second reactions that this game calls for quite a bit.

-Ok I love how you made the mini combo-bonus thing like it increases by 100 whenever you hit someone. That makes me just want to keep a huge combo up. One thing I don't understand is that you get free points just for finishing the level that aren't apart of the time bonus. I mean I know you want to reward someone for finishing the level, but isn't the time bonus for that?

About controls, some people say they are loose, well actually i like it that way. The music maybe not awesome, but it's cool. Animation is just amazing and it looks like you're really proud of it. Great job!
