Reviews for "Super Morse Code RPG"

Original

One of the most original games I have ever played.

Grent responds:

Well, with only one button at our disposal, we had to get a little creative. Glad you liked it!

Great Game

Great game, I had an idea: you could give all the enemy soldiers names and we'd have to type in the first letter of their name to attack them, I found typing in numbers got a little tiring.

Grent responds:

I felt the same way about the numbers towards the end of the development process as well. In the currently unlikely event that we produce a sequel, I'll definitely have a different way of selecting targets, but by the time I had tired of the number system, we were too far along in development to fix it without running way over our time limit. Thanks for the review!

I see a lot of low reviews

but the game really becomes easy once you become accustomed to the control of sending the commands. I do have to agree that it is hard at first (that is why I believe a tutorial should have been created to get players to be used to making the commands in morse) but yea it's actually fun after you get used to it all after playing for a while.

Grent responds:

With a little more time (and maybe some beta testing) I would probably have picked up on the need for a tutorial. Unfortunately due to the time constraint, I didn't think about this until it was too late. Glad you liked it, though!

good game

I've always wanted to learn morse code. Unfortunately, this game doesn't work too well on my computer, because the space bar gets stuck.

Grent responds:

And that's one of the many reasons optional mouse-click Morse is on our list of improvements to make on the sequel.

it's great

It's really amazing to come with such a game with the 1 button limit. I get to learn the morse code at the same time!!! XD Graphics and music are fine, and thanks a lot for putting in the quality function. The only one downside is where u have to keep leveling up or u're probably gonna die somewhere in the game. (but like u said, it's pretty easy to level up *yay*)
keep up the geat work! :D

Grent responds:

Thanks for the review! I'm glad to see that new people are still finding this periodically. I realize that the lack of checkpoints really turns some people off from the game, and that makes me kind of wish I had put them in from the start, but ultimately I'd like to put the effort I would use implementing those towards a new project. Glad you liked the game!
