Not bad
I'll be honest, I couldn't beat the last boss. I found the majority of the game a little too easy and the boss a little too hard. It's just that I hit my max meat up early on and everything died quick and easy. It was fun, just really easy. Then I hit the boss and, once again, it was fun but I couldn't seem to dodge his blood spitballs and kill the werewolves with the skulls nipping at my heels. Actually, I lost the majority of my health to the little ankle-biting bastards.
I would only recommend two things though. One would be a health bar for the final boss. You don't need it for all of them, just the boss. If I see that I'm close to killing the guy and I've died fighting him 10 times, I'm more likely to keep playing than if I think he's still at 75%. For instance, I would try to hit the werewolves with my skull just before he would eat them but would throw it the opposite direction by mistake. Now I don't know if that is a miniscule amount of health he's regained or if he's back to 100%.
Two - I would like to be able to turn without changing my position (or at least not changing my position very much). I would sometimes be standing on a small ledge and want to turn around to throw my skull or punch or something and instead of just turning (no matter how lightly I tapped teh arrow key) I would dash about a yard, respectively. It could easily have gotten me killed and I thought it had on few occassions.
I also bumped into a glitch during the boss battle that I thought you might be interested in hearing about. I tossed my skull and it would stick in mid air, mouth wide open, and I would be unable to use it until I died. It occurred a few times on me which may have added to my incompletion of the game. All I can remember about the details of the glitch are that I had at most 2 beef upgrades each time it occurred and that I was trying to eat a werewolf and it failed.
With the glitch, the direction change controls, and the large gap in difficuly I dropped my rating 3-ish points. It was fun and kept me entertained for some time. It looked smooth and controls were good. Nice game. And btw, I don't mind the difficult boss, I just wish there was a bit more upgrading I could do rather than maxing out around level 3 and then playing for 7 more levels. That or a meat level checkpoint in the boss battle so when you die you don't start at level 1 again.
