Good concept, bad pacing
Now this might be fixed in the iPhone version, but since this is the flash version I must comment on what I've got. Overall this serves as a competent bigger eats smaller game. It lacks the tension and challenge of games like Fishy, or the charm and novelty of games like Katemari Damachi. Overall the core mechanics work, but are not too impressive. The only major flaw is the pacing in the levels. Often times there are only a handful of object types per level, leaving the player to grind on the same few objects until they are big enough to wipe up the rest of the level. The final level is the most guilty of this offense. Even after eating everything else in the level Jupiter is far too large, so the player has to grind on Alien Motherships, all the while keeping an eye out so Jupiter doesn't smack them like an angry god. Some more smaller objects to build up to Jupiter's size would have been helpful.
Also this is in dire need of more music. Having the same generic theme playing over and over and over again is just annoying. The damn thing looped at least three times while writing this review.
Just another Katamari rip-off
Can't see why this game is getting such high ratings. The graphics and music are ok, but the gameplay is really boring (maybe you should make bigger levels and add more objects so players won't have to wait until something spawns or just make them shorter).
kinda lame
i played actual tasty planet b4 i found this place and it has 50+ lvls. plus, this has some of the dumbest lvls on it. PS. if u put more lvls on please add the lvls with the energy entity and/or black hole. plz rate up so someone who controls the games sees it. thank u
this game was fun like five minutes. i play when i was little and i loved it. but now is just boring.is just same thing over and over again.if you are a kid ad 1,5 or 2 star to my review you should like it.
