Why were they sleeping outside in the rain when there was a tent next to them?
How did the bird's wing not real for "years"?
WTF?! did the bird growl?
I noticed he had badges on his arm. is he supposed to be a boyscout or
something? they don't wear them on their arm.
Did the boy die of bird growl?
Bad. You really had no story to tell, you just wanted to make an animation.

The tent was full, the birds wing was infected and infections never heal. The bird was a demon, so yes it did growl. I was a scout for a few years and my badges were always on my arm. Just stop trying to make questions and poke holes in the plot, you're an idiot, take the story as it is. This was made in less than 48 hours.
