Reviews for "Warning Foregone"

It is Indeed

a horrible clone of WF (Warning Forever) nice try but only way to make a better copy of WF is to make it 3D and give it a few upgrades. this is a very horrid clone, you need to put in A LOT more effort into this game ESP if youre going to clone another accomplished game.

Im glad to see there are others who have played the real Warning Forever ^_^.

Oh, it WAS a WF-clone.

My first reaction to the name Warning Forgone was that it made me think of Warning Forever which I played a lot a few years ago.

Then I opened the game and voila! A copy! Without any credit to the original game whatsoever... not nice. (But that won't affect my points).

So. You get 2 points for making a decent clone, 1 point for at least changing the graphics a bit and 1 point for a upgrade system that seems a little decent (didn't have the energy to play it for any longer time, since I can't play this game with a keyboard being used to play WF with the mouse).

Blatant copy

2 stars for being a functional remake, but the concept and execution are copy pasted from a pre-existing game, Warning Forever. Sure hope that 'contest' you won didn't require originality.

Great, but slightly flawed...

I think this game has a very interesting premise and decent graphics, although some gameplay elements made this one a little tough to appreciate fully...

As someone before mentioned, the missiles are a little too fast. I can understand that, as the game progresses, the missiles become more deadly... But I can easily be defeated on the second or third levels unless I'm watching both my ship and the enemy simultaneously. I also encountered plenty of homing missiles, which brings me to my next point...

If you ever make a sequel, could you integrate a mouse-based aim for the ship? I found that on either aiming system, I simply could not destroy homing missiles accurately enough. On Auto, I could wrap around the missile and line it up with the enemy, but I would usually die if I missed said missile on that first turnaround due to its speed. On Manual, I would need to destroy that missile -and- focus on other dangers, while trying to center in on the boss. Both systems are quite hectic.

Like I said before, this game shows lots of promise... It's just got a few kinks.

Warning Forever crappy remake

If you like this game, play the original. It was made eight years ago and is decidedly better than this 8-bit remake.

Sorry dude, but I really like Warning Forever and just can't latch on to a watered-down clone.
