A cool game with a cool theme/subject.
But there are some things I don't understand. First, there is no need for any knowledge of paintings. You just have to think logical and look very closely.
Also, what's the difference between easy, normal or hard modes? I tried normal and hard but it's all the same. You can take your time in normal mode too, i've noticed.
Second, in the gallery there are paintings that don't show in the game itself...

The only real dissapointment for me, was that you HAVE to solve the riddle to continue. I'd suggest giving a credit point or something, so you can skip a painting if you really can't solve it. Or perhaps that skipping costs you like 30 points. In some paintings, I went berzerk on clicking everywhere because I had no idea what the answer was.

In one of the riddles:
"..these people support the world. People dressed in gold don't count." But the people in gold ARE the ones you are supposed to click!?!? Huh??

Overall, good game, could use some improvement. I hope to see a sequel!

mrty responds:

- Well, people who have taken art classes or have knowledge in art in any way have more of an advantage when playing this game.

- The only difference between the difficulty settings is your score at the end. Harder the difficulty, the less score you receive (depending on the time you took).

- Of course there are paintings in the gallery that aren't present in the riddles... They are extra, unlockable items.

- Initially, you were able to skip the riddles at the cost of 10 points. However, I figured that since there were only 30 riddles, the ability to skip them shortened the play time even more than it already is. Thus, I wanted solving them to be the only option.

- It's "These golden *figures* support the world". Figures aren't necessarily people.

- Thanks for the detailed review.

Great game :D

This game is really nice! Except that my computer sucks, so the cursor moves slowly. Gotta admit some were difficulty, SOME WERE OMGGGG SO HARD and some were nice and easy :D Especially the pointing one? I just randomly clicked and got the answer :D

mrty responds:

If the game is slow, try turning down the graphics quality. You can do so at the upper right corner of the screen.

Assassin's Creed Truth Lite!

Well, this game does show glimmers of the sort of thing you are asked to do during Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood, where you are looking for hidden clues and meanings within the paintings. I think that while you've done a decent job here, there is still room for improvement:

The hint for riddle 13 is a poorly worded. Personally, I would have said that the fountain is the sculpture that shoots the water forth, not the pool, to which you referred as the fountain. Clearing this up makes the hint less ambiguous and overall a better game, as I confess, I had to dig out a walkthrough, before I could move past this part of the game.

Medals are always good and this game is no exception - why not have the pictures tell some sort of story, like the DaVinci code or Assassin's Creed, since there needs to be something that the artists were saying. Obviously, there is a great deal of (mis)interpretation going on around these images and perhaps it would lead you to discover the whereabouts of the Holy Grail (Montsegur, in France is always a popular destination, though that avenue might already have been tried.)

Clearly, it's taken a lot of time and effort for research and so forth, so keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more from you!

I found the apple of eden!

Reminds me of another game that has this as a mini game and similarly makes you click on a certain part of the picture hinted at in the text. But its definitely not assassins creed. :D

Alright so I think there is a issue

The pointing question one, I click on the old man pointing and NOTHING HAPPENS! It's like what the **** I get this far for nothing but to have a glitch please fix or make it easier as I clicked EVERYTHING BECAUSE IT WAS you know a :I kind of things.

mrty responds:

There is no old man in the first riddle... I have no idea what you're talking about.
