Apart from the intro
I really do like the animation. The texture was super smooth and nothing cut up. However, I'm sorta lost in the plot, please don't hate me for making an opinion about your short, yet I can't help but wonder what this is even about. It seems sorta lifeless, just epic explosions and running around aimlessly fighting 1 guy in an abandoned city. Thats all I got from the whole thing.
Also, I mean I was never really a big pokemon fan, but this short, other than the music and that, was really well done. I hope you exceed and goto the next level of animation, because you've got a great thing going here. :)
Interesting
What an interesting way to display the Pokemon universe. I'm impressed, I must say, and I feel like this could be a smart move in broadening the size of the audience. Kind of a darker side of Pokemon, also, which is always going to be the only reason Pokemon are cool.

Worth it
Excellent direction! almost like watching real anime opening, even though the style obviously is anime. Show the full one and 10 stars might be yours.

The ending after that poor choice of song, was honestly some great animation work. If you produce another trailer on level with the last 30 seconds of this trailer. It'd be worth a full years wait.
