Think out your engine more.
You've got a great, fluid engine that doesn't really utilize any of the things I expected THE RAVEN (dramatic emphasis) to have. What about a grappling hook, a sprint function, or even a walljump for that matter. Also, for all the time spent on high quality animation and fluid character movement, it seems there was time detracted from level design and real motivation. In other words, despite how polished it looks, it's just another platformer in a sea of them.
But your attention to storyline and slick animation gets it an 8. Looking forward to more.
