Reviews for "The Raven, shadow subject"

its alright...

i mean ive played better and if you would like help making the game better i can help you...just contact me if you want the help...

dull

it looks ok but.. the gameplay is dull
also, at level 3, you have to jump over a few gaps to the next platform, only, when you fall down, u keep on falling endlessly and nothing happens.. you should work on that. also, when you then restart, the progress isnt saved, so you have to do everything all over again.
though, a 6 for the graphics and possible interesting plotline

Neat game

Not really my thing though,
but I HATE the fact how you have to play using the arrow keys but when something happens you have to use the mouse to continue. What's up with that?
Well, I guess people like annoying other people, but if you're gonna do something like that you should have made a different game.
So with that said, if you're not trying to annoy people, fix the flaws and make it more interactive.

As for flaws/annoying shit, it's easy to 'cling' to a wall although I know that's not on purpose and fall slower by moving along an inclined ceiling.
cont.
The "Death area" of bots is horrible. I can literally jump right in front of them (the light) and live. It's only a certain part of the light that kills you.

So yeah I'm just gonna quit there cause this platformer doesn't seem too special.

And ya, if I didn't have so much to complain about in so little time, i would have played longer. Sorry.

Cool idea...

Really not enough variety for my taste, though. I got pretty well fed up by level 2 after getting smoked by the broken bot that flickers. Can't seem to land and stand still in the shadows before it blasts me into oblivion since I'm basically still airborne from jumping up to the platform. It's too big of a pain in the butt, honestly. Pity. Still, I'm sure the rest of the game is great; I just don't have the patience today for such twitchy AI. Trippy idea, though! The graphics are quite nice, but after a while the music had me wanting to rip my ears off due to extreme repetitiveness. I opted to remove my headphones instead. :)

It would have been nice to have some other form of defense besides just hiding and sneaking around. Weapons are always nice, too, and a guy whose only ability seems to be playing Hide & Seek doesn't make for much of a hero (anti-hero?) imo. Maybe that kind of upgrade gets introduced later, eh? Ah, well...good luck!

Has great potential

I've only played up to level 4 so far (apologies) & I'm finding it to be quite good. However I feel it is getting repetitive already, even at this early stage, If there was weapons added and in general more creatures/beings to fight with or even the option to shoot down or temporarily disable the cameras It would become so much better. Bar that the voices and the general character portrayal didn't agree with me personally but that's just me nitpicking, overall its a very good game (especially if this is your first time) and I hope you continue to make games like this in general. Good luck.
