Not bad...

More like cause of death: giant explosive.

War is shameful.

Not really about the movie but this fits in here nicely.Being in war is shameful.Whether a civilization is the attacker or defender,it should be greatly ashamed. Some may say that being a soldier is great honor, but they are wrong. You are trained to kill and do battle. This may rise a thought in your mind "wtf those men are defending their country mothafocka USA MAN!".Still it is wrong.War is not a thing to fear or hate.War is a thing to grieve.War is not a thing to take pride of.It is a thing to be ashamed of.War my fellow newgrounders,is a sad,sad thing to exist. If your country has ever been in war or is in war,you should be ashamed.I am ashamed of my country even if we were attacked by Russia and Sweden.Has your country ever waged war?'Tis a sad thing if it has.I've propably had one too many of those mushrooms, but you get my point.War is shameful.War is sad.Soldiers should be pitied for having to kill people.Peace brother.

It's pretty good...

The animation itself is quite good. But you can't separate the purpose of this animation. It's great propaganda, although I may not be in support of it. I guess cuz I'm not American I can appreciate it better (no offence meant). Still, I think WW2 was pure...crap. It's a sensitive issue.

One point though. Japan never apologised for the Rape of Nanjing/Nanking to China and claimed that their attack was for a good cause. So I guess USA didn't have to apologise (they did fund Japan heavily in the Korean War, so...meh).

It depends where you stand on. I choose to remain in the middle.

Pretty one sided

Has the author even looked at what happened in China before America became involved in WWII? Does the author remember Pearl Harbor? Do the words "Batan Death March" mean anything? It is sad that so many lives were lost, yet even then Japan did not surrender. It took another city to convince those in power that this was not a trick. Say what you will, it was the only course of action available at the time. The commander in chief of the US armed forces must use all resources available to him to protect his people. This includes civilians as well as uniformed personel. You need to look a little deeper next time. This is not offensive. It is trite.
