Fun

Not as good as the first,this would be like a good add-on to the original.

I only have one complaint,and that is the aiming of the enemy:
1.Their range seems to far outstretch yours,making it difficult to say if you are safe from them or not
and
2.The aiming of the enemy planes is highly unrealistic.Machine guns arent on a swivel,they dont have a 45 Degree radius to fire.They shoot straight ahead,and its up to the pilot to aim them.When I'm running parrallel to an enemy plane and all of his shots hit me when he's flying in a straight line,it pisses me off.It takes the strategy out of the game.

Still fun though,keep up the good work,I await your next installment

Well made but not very fun imho

Dunno, i cant find much enjoyment when im playing that game. Lots of "luck" involved since its hard to tell the angle and range of the ennemy guns... and since losing is inevitable i dont feel like dying 10000 times just to get another plane to do the same thing AGAIN.
Just survival? Gets old quick.

Takes too long to get to the planes wich may be fun to use, cost goes up ridiculously high too fast. Why not have acess to all planes right now and see how well we perform with each?
But no, we gotta grind.

Sure, its well done and all. Large variety of planes, nice variety of powers, but most planes are just plain bad.
Missiles are pretty much useless btw. For the few times i used them i was unimpressed each time, better served by just charging and shooting normally.

Ennemy increase in number WAY too quickly. By wave 3-4 everybody is dead and im alone against the never-ending horde.

The "broken" planes, aka fun ones are hidden behind that "gamergold" garbage. No way im paying to have access to anything in a flash game.

Good effort, well designed, repetitive, too long to make meaningfull progress.

Great, but needs little tweaks

I have to agree with the guy below me about the Axe..

The idea is awesome, the game play is almost perfect.. but many.. if not most of the planes are pretty useless. If you got rid of all of them and used an upgrade system with a handful of different chassis this would be a really ridiculous game.

Suggestion for Steambirds 3:

A few different chassis varying in speed and armor as to leave upgrades to the player.

The ability to earn and add different guns varying in range, speed and power.. the ability to earn and add different armor packages or engines to adjust speed and strength.. the ability to earn and add aerodynamics packages to increase maneuverability.

The ability to add skills based on a points system tailored to the chassis. (ie. Heavy planes get more skill points)

You could still "sell" guns and armor to generate your return.

Otherwise.. what you have here is very good.
