Reviews for "The Infinite Ocean"

This sets the standard

This is a very good game. I's sooo different as it has a theme. A theme that can make people think or even relate to. You are a very good write, you can keep the audience intrigued and you certainly kept me interested.
Very inspirational, as if someone can create a game of this calibre, then possibilities are INFINITE.

Great story

Brilliant game, storyline especially. Nice interactions and notes, it makes you think. What if you were in this position, of creating a sentient being through a independent thinking computer, who learns logic and gets morals. I guess this isn't the end, but just the beginning. Make a sequel.

I AM.

That really was amazing, I loved the presentation and the puzzles, while not overly difficult, were all interesting. And to Moschinius, obviously you didn't like the story if you didn't read the files - At least put some effort in before you say something's crap, because I loved it, read every file I discovered and found the story to be amazing.

Great work on this game, 5/5, 10/10

Beauty

Functionally it's a point and click. You point your cursor and click. (Please note: The base mechanics of the game work.) The atmosphere was great, dark, unsettling when you think about where everyone is, strange when you consider that everything is just a touch to 'just left there'. Music helped a lot with that. I got turned around a couple times in the game but never to the point of utter frustration. (It was only mild.) The story. I can't do it justice. I'll try. It was beautiful and intelligent. It was imaginative and powerful. It was funny at times and utterly devastating at others. (A personal favorite were the little 'fail safes' it put in place in case of its --------). It was philosophical. But while at points characters seemed to run together, I didn't care. It was beautiful. It was a beautiful story about life. It was a beautiful story about hope.

This game is the best I have ever played. Having concluded it to click a button and extoll its virtues to the members of a flash forum is a disgusting trite insult. A simple recommendation could never convey the urgency of the two messages with which this game has left me; one being the statement used to conclude it, and the other that every thinking human being needs to experience this.
