Reviews for "Adapt or Die"

Would be excellent.

The problem is controlling the bots. Seperating them is nigh impossible, due to a mix of them reacting to anything nearby, and that if they decide to do something, it will deselect them. It also seemed to deselect whenever I was trying to grab a group, the selector would just disappear. I'd love to play a version of this game that wasnt such a mess/hassle to actually just play.

good try

i know someone else already said this, but i really agree... GREAT concept, poor execution. the whole semirandom traits from dividing your bug: great idea. but you can never really take it very far. i mean, i want to breed an ultimate army of trait specific bugs, and see the war through to the end with them. but it all goes away at the end of each level. if you could think of a way for things to be more long term... i mean even after reading the instructions i had this idea kinda like dragon warrior monster. but whatever, i hope someone trys this whole trait specific thing and makes a better game.

Adapted, didn't die.

I thought this game was pretty well put together. The graphics are basic, yet have depth to them. The gameplay was challenging. I really enjoyed the evolution factor to it. I didn't necessarily like the green hexes because you had to monitor how long your bee was on there or your stats changed too dramatically. I thought there should have been more option for evolution, but this worked well. A note to cy1, maybe you should just get better as I only lost one level.

Good concept, bad execution

I like the concept of the game. The problem is: (1) It's hard to control, (2) After you loose all your lives you start from the beginning, and (3) There are no achievements as a reward. Because of these three things I didn't want to play again. If any of these things were significantly improved by themselves I would have played again.

With it being hard to control: Half the time I felt like the units were too slow to react to my commands, or went farther than I told them to (running into an "upgrade" square that I didn't want while attacking).

great

love it but lvl 9 was easier than lvl 6
