This game though awesome...
Needs a strafe key. I'd like to be able to back up and keep shooting as I retreat so I can maximize kills. Also, melee needs work. I mean, I understand this game is about running away as opposed to direct combat, but if you hit a guy with a sword who already dead and rotting, it should vanquish him pretty easy. Maybe a sprint function too so I can get around the big hordes. A shove key would be nice too.

for your first its really good you just gotta make the zombies weaker and give the survivor a chance to live longer and add a storyline or something too it but overall good job for your first
Pace of Game is OK, but...
The zombies take too much ammo or melee. They push through your attacks. I like the AI's ability to move around me, good job there, however, it appears you favor the zombies too much and make them too difficult to manage. The sword was good cause it 2 shot most things, but it was too slow and I found my self dealing with too many zombies to kill and died.

It|s average... there are so many games with better controls, better graphics and better fun-factor... seriously the music pissed me off and because of my qwertz kezboard I got some control trouble... most because I regulary use my mouse to shoot and not any key. The game it self is boring it's just like many others. running and shooting... nothing else... if there were at least better graphics and some special effects but nothing... I couldn't even see a story... all in all it's poor made but at least better than nothing... maybe a good game to waste time, but I prefer Final stand or endless zombie rampage... or any old gameon my SNES emulator^^
Yeah I agree, I hate this game too. No antialiasing, normal/abnormal mapping, poor 2d graphics, c64 gameplay and low-fi sounds. Why should I play this piece of crap when I have Dead Rising 2 right here? I must say you convinced me...
