Cool
Just the way a retro platformer should be. I like the different weapons and spells that go with them. And for the ones that can't get past the first level because a hill is blocking the way, in platforming games one often encounters platforms floating around. You could step on them to reach new heights, maybe.
Great game, hate platforms
Great retro style and loved the gameplay. My only problem was that i felt like he/she couldnt jump high enough to get to the platforms.
I was able to get up this impassable rise you speak of. I am not sure what happened with your game, but I am far into it.
As with the fast enemy attack patterns, that's simply a good amount of difficulty. It's supposed to be hard.
This game, for me, is very enjoyable, but I did see a minor bug in the first boss level. At the part with the 2 bats, the descending elevator, and a green and a red cyclops, I think the green cyclops got stuck in the cliff as I was running from it. I believe it got caught between the elevator and the cliff.
But it was a very minor bug, and is not very prevalent. Overall, this is a challenging, fast-paced thrill ride of a game. Very well crafted.
