Finish the game instead of releasing single levels
You improved since the last game... but you've got a lot left to improve.
You need to improve the game play a lot before you continue on another level. Firstly, you can't face backwards. It'd be better if you could, then you'd need only one button to fire. Secondly, there appears to be no acceleration. You run, jump and fall with the same velocity. Making the speed increase with 1 for every frame is a smart idea. It'd be nice if you could climb the walls like you could in the original MM, but that's a luxury feature.
Also, it looks like you're using JPEGs for all the backgrounds. Don't. It looks horrible. Use GIFs or PNGs instead.
The man you meet somewhere midgame looks good but you should pixel him to make him fit to the surroundings.
I know you're anxious to finish this game but do finish it before you release anything more. It takes time to make a game.
