glitch finder
i like the game, even though i havent played the others in thte series. i can guess what they were about by the opening scene, but i am only on ch 3 and have found several glitches, namely on breakable platforms not respawning after i die. and then the end-all glitch when running under gates, if you are kinda late, you get teleported to outside the level and have to restart the game
Stylish, but not substantial.
The game looks great. The animations are fluid and the graphic novel-esque cut scenes are great. Although, the environments are pretty bland. The music is also awesome. But the combat just isn't up to snuff. I found myself spamming little 2 hit combos to keep the enemy at a distance. Whenever you try to string anything together, you just end up getting punished. Boss battles can be challenging but again, it's the same formula. All you can do is just poke away at the enemy hoping they don't charge through your attacks. Seeing as how combat makes up just about half of what there is to do in the game, this can be a real issue. The platforming and puzzle sections are decent, but nothing special. Also, the upgrades are pretty simplistic (it's disappointing that there are only 2 fist and sword upgrades). The specials are fun to toy around with and can actually be very helpful, but after the aesthetic appeal wore off, I just found myself using the same poke attacks. It just doesn't really feel like a complete game. I appreciate the artistic appeal and it's not a terrible fighter or platformer, but it's not that great. Sorry.
Good game, but lag prevented me from having much fun.
I like the way it combines Armed with wings's puzzle solving with Armed with wings 2's fast paced battle combo's and smooth sprite animations together. There are a shitload of glitches in the Story and Survival mode which are irritating. Over all, its a good game.
