Just phenomenal
This, my friend, has to be one of the MOST impressive zombie games I have ever played, equal to or even BETTER then the Last Stand series. This game drew me in and held me until I beat it, and I haven't even touched the other modes other than The Great Escape.
The story is a classic, and can never really get boring. One man, trying his best to escape the deadly infection. I love how the military seemed harsh and radical, but caring at the same time. The ending seems to leave room for a sequel, depending if the zombie infection does indeed spread, which I'm guessing most likely will.
The gameplay was unique. I don't normally find myself loving a game revolved around a driving mechanic, but you made it work. The customization was pretty good. I really felt as if the upgrades were helping me pretty much instantaneously. If another sequel is being made, maybe try and fit more ways to upgrade the car.
The music was well done, and the ending music fit well. Nice.
Some things I'd like to bring up. One, when I go to pass in between 2 cars that seem to have enough of a gap for me to go through, I apparently still hit one of them. This has frustrated me a bit during my playthrough, and I hope you fix it, possibly in that potential sequel. I wish the helicopters moved a bit FASTER. Not because of them shooting me, but because by the time I see another highway sign to lead them into, I have to dodge some obstacles in the road, and then the chopper is too far from the sign to get hit, making me waste my time.
Sorry Newgrounders, if this was too long, but this was just my thoughts on the game. If you consider another sequel, please keep these things in mind!
Overall, incredible game! About to go play the other modes now.
