Reviews for "Road of the Dead"

Well thought out!

I didn't find anything about the game that really bothered me. I felt it was executed nicely and you and your team made really good use of the concept. Very fun and I could play it for hours, possibly.

awesome

you deserve this ten

kool!!!!!

dis game is da bomb!!

AMAZING

i loved this game and it has one of the best and saddest endings to a zombie game ever

All the best components

I like the "survivable situations" I only ever see in certain games, you know, how there are several problems with a unique solution. Not just lose health/gain health.
... Except for hitting oil slick, maybe you can splash through a puddle, like water barrels for blood? As for the scenery, the highway gets repetitive after awhile. Maybe a bottle-neck street or alley to crash through to sometimes? Sure, less hazards but it would lose the luxury of a four lane highway to menuver.

At the start maybe cops only armed with pistols should shoot at you, after it gets serious he could flip his radio to the military station when they appear.
Also there should be a heavy penalty for hitting civs, like losing lots of currency (Or more than it is now? I forget if there is one.) that way I feel like i'm not wasting money on a good horn. Grabbing more zombies with it helps though :D.

Lastly, the other one I didn't care for was perception, the little UI got in the way more than the hazards that are supposed to do that. And the very fact that it was a UI killed the whole realism of it, that you look at your speedomiter to know how fast you're going, for example. It should simply increase your view distance, a helpful tool that answers both those issues.

I had a new idea, perhaps when something is run over at medium speed. They go under instead of over, indicated by the arm holding on to the hood/bumper. The control is not quite as bad as going through oil, but the screen shakes. Run through break-away objects to get 'em off.

It's hard to make a interesting and fast paced, yet tactical game. Using a car as a weapon, also is hard to incorporate. It only has one attack, two if you have a gun. Still, there was a knee-jerk decicion to be made around every corner. Very nice.
Sequal? I would play it. Any of these suggestions could be used just as easy.

All in all amazing game. I've been playing it since the day I saw it on here. Awesome.
