A decent time waster

good graphics. To the author- What is the difference between cake mode and classic mode?

Needs more excitement

It's not a bad game. Really it's cute and the goal is easy to understand nothing confusing. It's just that you get seriously bored after awhile. It's nothing more then stacking and nothing changes. Well except the size of the cake but there is nothing else to the game except stacking. Maybe add something like a guy trying to balance the stack after you'r done stacking and see how long you could keep it balanced. Good game but needs more excitement to it.

Fun, but Mochicoin crap kills it.

I loved this game for the first day I played it on and off. I mean it's simple, fun and addictive, with great music and graphics and a hilarious concept and execution. The three modes work great and it's pretty much the perfect little game for what it is.

But then I bought everything and that was it. This game hit a wall that just can't get broken, and it's all because of those damned mochicoins. Little victories are key in games like this to give the player a sense of achievement: after earning enough coins you can get pickups for each mode, and that's great. But then instead of letting simply playing the game be the factor in progressing, you have to make it some idiotic system where you have to pay actual money for upgrades.

Now, I know this isn't your fault, if some company sponsored my game then I'd do the same thing, and if you're getting paid for this then you're good enough for it not to be a "sellout" or stupid shit like that. But regardless of whether or not you're at fault, the system freaking sucks. It sucks all the fun and magic out of the game after you buy everything you can, to know that you have the POTENTIAL to have a funner experience but not the means to do so (I mean, I can afford to buy 'mochicoins', but seriously, why the hell would I?)

So yeah. If you'd gotten sponsored by a company without an idiotic business model that forces a less fun experience on people looking for free entertainment on a free medium, this game would be nearly perfect. The difficulty spike as you progress would gradually weaken with experience, as you'd be able to get health/time/cakes more frequently and slow down time more than once at a time. As it is it's just sad. I don't wanna take away from your style and programming skills, which are up there, but yeah: screw Mochi Games for taking a sledgehammer to this game's fun factor.

BACON CAKE!!!

one of the cakes looks like its made of BACON!!! glorious glorious BACON!!! just for that, i give you ten stars, but the game gets boring kinda fast, so minus 3....which gets us a score of 7/10
