Awesome, but found a bug...
Beat it once, then played again but found a bug. If you make the potion without talking to all the people first, the items vanish from your inventory and you don't get a potion either, so it's impossible to complete.
Otherwise, beautiful artwork and great concept. I'd check the grammar, though. For a point-and-click game based on a story, you should really do a proof for spelling and grammar, considering the artwork is so professional.
stuck
im stuck where you have to finish the summon the dead potion. i put the stuff in but i cant get anything out. I have been everywhere, i got the dude to his wife, talked to the old woman and im two pieces away from completing the puzzle. Will someone please help me figure out what i did wrong or what i need to do. great game. draws player in.
This game was an excellent piece of storytelling. The animation was very nice, and navigation easy.
I ran into an issue where I could not finish the game because I used the potion before I asked everyone in the town "Who is...."
For those wondering, the sequel to this game is titled "a Grain of Truth" and it is not hosted by PastelGames, but it is on Newgrounds.
The story is so nice! I like these types of games.
The art style is kind of nostalgic for me, and I love it!
