Three Thumbs up
Awesome game. Lots of references and humor. I especially love the character interactions with each other. Has guns, magic, swords, upgradable equipment, limit breaks, medals that unlock areas and cute slimes to smash at.. What more can you ask for? More funny dialog available playing epic mode and medals than normal, which ups the replay value for me. Xd
The only problem with this game is the mini games. Sure I can cruise through Epic mode, but some of the mini games are so much harder than epic mode. The first mini game was easy to get the medals. The skeleton one wasn't that hard once you get the controls down and timing. The narwhale and rockdodger was pretty difficult and needed much practice and concentration. The card flipper one is practically impossible for me. So I will give up on that medal. Maybe it is just me, but I think downgrading on the level of difficulty of the mini games would do good.
Overall, It is a super awesome game and I hope for a sequel. xd
