Pretty freakin' sweet.

I liked it.

Couple improvements could be made, though:

1. Moar experience level-ups! Seriously, five is all we get? I got that before I finished World 1. I kept getting ridiculous experience because of my shields, but it wasn't being used for anything. Kind of pointless.

2. Make the bosses a little harder? None of them really lasted very long, and not one of them damaged me once.

3. The graphics could be tweaked a bit so that 'low' actually meant 'low'. I ran on low and, granted, my computer's not the best, but it got pretty choppy at times, especially while using the laser.

4. The weapons were all pretty fun, but two in particular stood out as being kind of broken: Shotgun and laser. Trishot, explosive and rebound were alright, but for some reason shotgun was just POWERFUL, so much that it easily outperformed the much more "powerful" (according to the stats) rebound explosive gun I "upgraded" to afterward. I ended up going back to the shotgun and clearing out a few more levels with that instead of my new gun, it was just better. Then laser is pretty awesome, possibly too awesome; I thought it kind of unfair the enemies could shoot through walls and such that I couldn't, but the laser sort of shut me up there, clearing out entire areas I wasn't even aware I was hitting because of the size of the laser and how powerful it was. I'm not even complaining about how strong it is; it's not broken like the shotgun was, but rather than having a weapon that can shoot through and hit everything to counteract the enemies doing the same, I'd prefer if the enemies couldn't, and likewise, I couldn't.

5. The fire rain special thing? Largely useless. It would've been good if the thing just did severe damage to or killed everything on screen, but as it stands, it doesn't hit very often and it's kind of distracting having all that happen on screen at once while trying to dodge and shoot. Maybe have another upgrade that gives a shield that reflects bullets for a certain time, maybe a temporary reload/fire speed boost, something I'd actually consider using.

6. The water/lava - meh. Yeah, it kind of pissed me off. The orbs would land on the water or lava, and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it at all. And I understand that he's a robot, but would it be so bad if it just took off 3-4 damage from my life instead of insta-killing me? It'd certainly make those high-end shields more useful than they are, seeing as how I almost never got hit, and never died from shot damage once I got a shield that upgraded my health (which happened in World 1). Heck, give some shields the ability to resist the insta-kill or something, that'd be alright.

7. Level design: For the most part, it was okay, but near the end it got kind of claustrophobic. Make them a bit bigger, with more room to move around, maybe?

So that's all I can think of at the moment. This is a really good game, though, I really enjoyed it for the most part. Good job, guys, you're giving Flash game design more credibility with every game you put out.
