nice game, seems like it'd be alot of fun...
...if i didnt need an account on another site just to save.
since im not allowed to keep my progress unless i join some other site, i didnt really play too much, i didnt go any further than the plains or get any higher than level 4.
it does look like a very good game, though... i'd probably play it alot if i was able to save, but again, i dont like having to join other sites to be able to save on a game im playing here on newgrounds.
i took away a point for that save thing, but i didnt wanna take away too much since it does seem like a lot of work went into it, you could've just been a little more considerate instead of forcing people to join other sites and all that.
good job with the game, maybe i'll come back and play it again if you decide to make a change to the saving feature.
Thoroughly impressive!
Wonderful game. The entire set-up is just awe insipring.
There are one or two glitches though. Sometimes the character or enemies may get stuck in walls.
Another has led to me restarting the game from scratch (quite disappointing as I was around level 23). I lost my weapon when I had it in the composition window but did not put i back into my inventory before closing the game.
Still all-in-all; just wonderful.
To the user below (GunJunkie): equipment must be upgraded one level at a time. i.e. first upgrade your armour to have +5 drop rate before using your medium crystals.
rare to find amazing game
i have to say i rarely come by such a game that i feel is worth my time playing, and this game is one of those. I like how the graphics give it some kind of old game feeling, since it brings me back to the time of SNES.
the gameplay is awesome, the upgrade system, skill and stats makes it feel like it could be a real RPG.
one addition that could be done that gives this game a 9 is that the music and sound effects should be 2 different options, because i like putting music off and keeping the sound effects, to play the game with my own music, but if u turn off music, i turn off sound effects as well.
PS: To any falchion users, i found a great combo to attack an enemy without being bothered by ground enemies much, but its hard to pull off in crowded areas. You have to get the falchion special attack (the multiple hit ones). when you do a regular combo, the final hit (from the upgrade u had to get before getting the falchion special attack) will launch the enemies hit by it in the air, if u do the falchion special attack RIGHT AFTER, your character will jump in the air and combo the enemy, safe from ground enemies and all attacks should connect, therefore dealing a lot of damage if u upgraded that attack a lot.
