You CAN kill Lord Baal
To kill Lord Ball:
~ Wait until your mana (400) is full, while having pixies heal so that Ka-Boom!s don't kill your units.
~Then use Shield for invulnerability to get close to Lord Baal. Don't bother with TimeStop since your units with get tossed around by the meteors.
~Make sure your units don't pass him for maximum damage. If you're impatient, you can also use Berserk and Rage together. Pull back before you are out of mana and before your "vulnerable" units get killed by his sword.
Using Succubus, Forest Hunter, Elf Sniper and Cassandra for ranged damage and Valkyrie and Mighty Guardian for melee damage, I was able to defeat Lord Baal while pulling all my units back only once. I avoided slow units and units with swords (including sending Heroes on the assault) since they heal Lord Baal. Fire damage also heals him.
Epic War 4 is a truly epic addition to the Epic War saga. The artwork, designs and style is the best yet. The soundtrack and effects are some of the best in any flash game I've ever played and really set the mood for Epic War games. Of the games in the series, I personally preferred the music and sound effects in Epic War 3.
The animations are much improved from Epic War 3 and the bosses were an interesting addition. Although the design on the final epic boss leaves much to the imagination; not saying i didn't like taking down the pixelated beast.
