Considering the time constraints
Really good! As far as programming, music, sound, and animation, it was all really well done. It was not just a stop fest you guys drew up, it was all really nice work.
The only problem was there was little conflict aside form the story. I know you mentioned it above, but I was waiting for some kinda boss to jump out at me, so the game play was pretty simple in that regard.
The 8 is for the work you put into it, adn the quality that came out. Really nicely done.
