Reviews for "I Wish, I Wish - Prologue"

xP not the best

this game is for me hard to play. also the extra opjectes make it worse. if i were you i would make it like pong have the ball slowly grow faster the more it was hit. also the four pong sticks makes it hard to deflect because you are always watching the other sticks out of the corner of your eye and cannot follow the ball.

wow

you did pretty good.

Pretty good.

The game was really fun and enjoyable. The ball's little comments at the end of each level were kind of cute and funny as well.
Just a couple of things could have probably made this better and also have more replay value. Most importantly, it's quite too difficult to reach a very high score. The reason for this is because of a few factors.
The first of these is that the edge of the flash is the edge of the play area. In other words, if your mouse goes outside of the main square, you immediately lose control of the game. An easy remedy for this would be to put a large border around the game, so even if your cursor leaves the main stage, you don't immediately lose control of the game, and probably lose the ball.
Another factor is the randomly placed parts. Quite often, they would appear right after you hit one of the green circles, and the ball would speed into one of those metal boards too fast to catch. There would be no possible way to move your mouse there fast enough.
And the last part is much like the previous one. The metal boards often would spawn in rows right near the edge of the stage, and so, the ball would bounce incredibly fast between these metal boards and the pong paddles, resulting in the loss of a ball.
Lastly, some work possibly on better graphics, more and different powerups, and also a removal or lightening of the cursor might also add to the game's overall quality.
Overall, though I really did like this game, and would love to see another version made with these things taken into account.

Thanks, you've made some good remarks. This game was a crazy ride for me, been through a lot until this final release and I agree that there are some things that might have been done better(there always are). I don't think I will ever work on another similar game, one is enough, but if you liked it, stay tuned for the second part, the gameplay will be different, but there will be some elements from this game too.

Very enjoyable!

I am always eager to find out the latest games on this website that have medals. I assume the medal worth 100 points is what you get after all of the other medals, including the secret medal. The graphics seemed a little simplistic, but they were actually cute in thier simplicity. It is not that hard of a game to play, as you merely have to follow your mouse over the ball to win at it. The music was good and I liked the variety. The ball character by himself is just a pretty funny character in general.

Not Bad at all

Great Graphics, (Mostly) Fluid controls, no concievable lag, new style of gameplay, and the ball is funny...

I only have two potential problems...

1. I've noticed that 90% of the time I fail, it's on the side things, and this is because its difficult to move both up and down and left and right...I know it'd be difficult, but is it possible to make this game with the arrow keys as well?

2. You only get points when hitting items, hitting it back and forth with the paddle balls get you nothing. At first, I thought this was insanely difficult, but after playing for about 45 minutes, it gets a little easier...Still, just a thought, but what about adding a (low, not much) score to hitting with the paddles?

Neither are really necessary, the game is great without both...

Great Job!
