Reviews for "SIEGE"

Starwars

Didn't know Chewbacca (lion man as someone else called him) was involved in the siege of malta. Pretty good otherwise, a little rough, but nice.

wtf

i thot this was a game at first. but it was vary well made and if you can make it a game pleas. ^-^

pretty good

bit short though and i dont think the siege of Malta was like 300. could have been much worse

i like it

but maybe a game or something interactive could be made out of this.it would be so much better then

Eh...

I'm rather conflicted on what to say about this flash. The animation was both well done and unique and the music was superb. However, being a historian I was kinda annoyed by the fantasy elements. The Siege of Malta is one of my favorite battles in all of history and is in my opinion exciting enough to make a good flash without fantasy elements. Frankly I didn't have too much of a problem with the everything until the Lionman came out to slay the dragon, it just got a bit too ridiculous for me then. Also giving the Turks black and red eyes gave them an evil, almost demonic aura and this is definitely not an accurate or fair portrayal of the Ottomans. I know I've said more negative than positive things about this flash but overall I really enjoyed it. It was unique and fun to watch but was held back from its full potential by some childish elements. I would have given it a ten but for this reason and as such I give it an 8 and a 5/5.

Thanks for the detailed review :)

Being that i'm currently studying graphic design I wanted to focus on the 'look' of things so, rather than simply re-narrating history, i decided to Personify characters such as La Valette (who's courage is personified into his Lion-Form) and Dragut (Who's name reminds me of the word 'Drago' - a dragon - who's serpentine looks give a sense of danger).

Simply put, i didn't focus it for a 'history' class but for a 'design' class, but thanks again for the review :) Who knows, i might decided to work on another history-based animation and i'll keep these points for future projects :)
