Reviews for "Thief: Rent's Due"

Everything was brilliant!

The animation was flawless, the story was intriguing, the artwork was excellent, and the voices? Don't get me started on the voices!

RWAR!

Tha Hammerites R Uber Pwerd!!!

Wow...

(Generally) I see the use of stick figures in two different aspects: totally crappy drawings (even for stick figures), but with fantastic ideas and concepts behind them.
OR
Really great graphics and artwork, but executed in a short length of time.

You combined really great graphics with a tremendous idea, and an awesome plot line. Not to mention the length, as most flashes on here that are good do not run very long, which can be disappointing.
At first blush, the voices seemed a little over-the-top for stick figures, but then I realized it just -worked-. The voice acting was very well done, and I definitely liked the drunk guy, X).

The arrows and the eye and the little blinding ball of flash were really cool, and added a nice element to the story. It also put a neat twist on a setting that seemed to take place back a couple hundred years or so.

All-in-all, the flash was wonderful, and I can't wait to see more from you. Even better would be to see more from this same plot-line, but if not, it was still great.

If I could add anything that would make this a little better, it might be how the character interacts with his environment. Him climbing the rope was very well done, as were the fight scenes, but there were areas where it could have looked like he was -actually there-.
I don't know anything about flash, so I don't know what goes into making this. When the character is running through the manor, and he does that little Parkour cat grab when leaping from one balcony to the next, it just seemed like the movements weren't...profound enough, I guess. If his body were to move more, and look like it was straining more, it would make that scene awesome. I can't think of any other examples right now, but I hope I have made my point clear, sorry if not :/.

Anyways, this is getting long. I just want to also add how great his handling of the arrows were. The sound effects and his movements were really well done.
I'm off to search for more of your stuff. Thanks for a great view!

Cheers!
