Reviews for "Sandbags Ultimate Dest."

I have never cared for these movies

Although I like the Sandbag sprite animations
Nothing really stood out in the animations
I agree with all the others. The animating styles were pretty much identical and if it weren't for the logos I would have thought it was a solo project.

If you try this again in the future try to stay away from the Dragon Ball Z style fighting and don't rip off moves from alvin earthworm

Ill give you 4 stars for the effort and another 3 stars for the somewhat decent animating skills

But just keep these things in mind for the sequel

Joeylicious responds:

How did you know about the sequel?
O_o

Needless to say, im not impressed.

~To: Diamond Henge Studios/Stephen/Klepto~
I am honored/ashamed for you that you decided to decompile the hell out of FFSX6, and im talking about the slash effects, even my animated BG for green Hill zone. But the big kicker was the fact you stole the entire beam effect. Now that i lold at. Lets not mention the fact that the animated street fighter alpha 3 background was handed to me by 'hadoukendude' (author of the FSM series) personally like 6 years ago, ya basically stole from 2 people, all in one part! Congrats!

Aside from that, the rest of the collab was a typical display of imagination people get when they get their hands on DBZ sounds, and a couple of fancy effects. Lets not get into the fact that this collab, was done before, because that cost you big originality points.

Like you said, this is pretty much Beat up Sandbag, the only difference is that these are a collections of the ones that didn't make the cut. I swear if you guys didn't put names on your parts i could have said that one person did the entire collab, but since this seems to be a mass collection of the same crap, i can give you all the exact same critique.

Now as for the music, I couldn't have even begun to imagine a poorer choice. not only did it NOT fit at all, but it basically bored me. I probably would have never found this if it wasnt for DarkZero down there telling me about DHS and his almighty decompiler, but feelings aside, i dont give out 0's unless it truly deserved it, and this in no way deserves a 0. Normally id give you a 5, but with the apparent decompiling of my stuff, and the lack of originality on EVERYONE'S part, and just the poor choice of music, you earn the great combined score of...!

2/5
3/10
-BlackDevilX

P.S. Tone down the blur effect. Turn up the sound quality. It felt like i was having a stroke. or a heart attack...or something i dunno.

Joeylicious responds:

It really is a shame that he stole from you honestly.

I greatly respect you BDX, and if we had known that you created that beam effect, we probably would have told him off.

We were aware that the concept of this collab was unoriginal, but we still thought it would be cool to try it out.

I still agree with you that the DBZ shit was unnecessary, but we thought it was what the people wanted.
And to an extent, we were right.

But all we (Well, me anyway) got was a bunch of retard fanboys spamming my inbox, asking me to send them effects, sounds etc.

I am greatly sorry that we wasted your time and very sorry on DiamondHenge's behalf.

Too bad I can't take it down now.

Waste of space

I'm giving you a ZERO. Because, there was a stolen effect, used twice in this movie. The idiot that made me vote 0 on this collab was, DiamondHengeStudios. He used an effect created by BlackDevilX, it was the beam that Shadic used to end his part. YES, I hate....Decompilers that decompile other people's animation

Also, The "Menu" button at the end of the Collab doesn't work. It takes me back to the beginning of the credits.

Joeylicious responds:

Glad you hated it, cunt.

Meh

It was kinda cool, but definitely repetitive. Funny looking sandbag too, it looked like a giant tampon, but hey :P

Joeylicious responds:

Seen it before. Not surprised.

I felt there wasn't enough thought put into each characters unique abilties, I constantly see moves being repeated throughout the entire flash and I can sum up an entire fight in just a few words:

Charge up Power with unneeded effects, Combo (Knock into Air), Teleport, Hit another Direction, Teleport, Hit target again up into the air ( Repeat this as many times as you'd like. ), Show Effect that this'll be a Super hit, Slow-mo during a Single Hit Super move that's uninteresting and doesn't add anything to the characters moveset, essentially the same Choppy Dragon Ball Z Fight over and over.

I've watched this a good 4-5 Times and throughout each fight there isn't any pacing. There's no start off light, throw in a few special moves to keep Sandbag juggled then Let loose a Super or two before finally going into their Ultra or most powerful attack instead of that what we get is a giant crock of random attacks at varying powers which I felt hurt the Flash the most.

It just, doesn't hook me like say Mortal Kombat vs. SF3 Would, there's no intricacy or intensity, it's just a gauntlet of effects and hitting noises.

Please consider a Characters moves maybe play a few of their games, see how they've fought throughout time then take those moves and place your own crazy twist on them. I'd much rather watch something well thought out than say Metaknight giving me a seisure.

Thanks for your time.

Nice joke with Earthworm Jim by the way, that made me laugh for a good two minutes.

Joeylicious responds:

Well thank you for all your critique.
I'll keep this in mind for the sequel.

Thanks for liking my piece, it seemed to be one of the popular ones :P
